Client Account Manager (U.S. Schools)
Position Location: Toronto
We are currently seeking a Client Account Manager to help us serve our
growing base of U.S. K-12 schools. As a Client Account Manager, you will be
responsible for:
- providing training and instructional support for teachers and
guidance counsellors
- responding to a high volume of client inquiries and requests by
phone and email
- building long-term relationships with clients
- working with teachers and counsellors to help them develop implementation
strategies to ensure they are able to use our guidance products to their full
potential
- maintaining a detailed database of customer contact information
- ensuring renewal of existing contracts.
As a Client Account Manager, you must possess solid
people skills - we are looking for an individual who enjoys
building long-term relationships with clients. You must also
be able to write well since a large portion of our communication
is done via e-mail. Finally, you must be detail-oriented.
You will be responsible for handling hundreds of client requests;
making sure each one is handled correctly is absolutely essential.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- university degree in education, counselling, or a related area of study
- at least three years of experience working as a teacher or a school counsellor
in the United States
- a thorough understanding of the issues U.S. students face when transitioning from
high school to post-secondary education or the workforce
- experience using Career Cruising or a similar computer-based career guidance system
We are looking for a full-time, permanent employee who is interested in long-term employment.
Compensation includes a base salary, benefits, plus bonuses
based on client satisfaction.
